The Chicago White Sox will get Todd Frazier from the Cincinnati Reds as part of a three-team trade that also includes the Los Angeles Dodgers, according to multiple reports. The Reds acquired infielders Jose Peraza and Brandon Dixon and outfielder Scott Schebler from the Dodgers. He hit.255/.309/.498 with 35 home runs and 89 RBI in 157 games with Cincinnati last season, and has spent his entire 5-year major-league career with the Reds.
After a big 2014 season (.280/.365/.556, 28 home runs), Schebler had a tough time in his first taste of Triple-A in 2015, hitting.241/.322/.410 with 13 home runs. Johnson has plue, plus speed, having stolen 84 bases in the minors back in 2013, but scouts question if he will ever get on base enough to take advantage of his speed. “It kinda put a smile on my face to see the guys we’ve got”.
I just wrote about 10 players who need to be traded with Frazier topping the list. The White Sox ranked 28th in the majors in runs, and their third basemen were 29th in batting average and last in RBIs. He can play left field if needed, is under team control for two more seasons, and is owed just $7.5 million in 2016.

The Reds have reportedly been shopping Brandon Phillips and Aroldis Chapman in trades and the Washington Nationals have shown interest in both players. He is a high-character, smart baseball player who will provide an impact bat in the middle of our order.
Thompson, the 24-year-old brother of Golden State Warriors guard Klay, appeared in 44 games for the White Sox a season ago. 230 in 36 games for the White Sox in 2015. He hit. 295 with three home runs and 12 RBI for the Glendale Desert Dogs in the Arizona Fall League.
